    New Bowhuntress!!! Need Tips!

So, I just got my first bow in February of this year and it's officially bow season in my neck of the woods!! I couldn't be more excited!!
With that being said, I would love any tips and tricks you can provide! Starting with hunter safety courses, how to stay still in the stand lol, apps to use to make sure I dont get lost and can find my stand, ect!

If you will be hunting/shooting sitting down in the stand, then practice shooting from that position.

If you want to do it the easy way, just bat your eyes and say "Help!" In the cutest voice you have. We'll do the rest.

That's the best advice I can give you. lol

The hard way, practice practice practice.
Trial and error. Learn from your mistakes.
                And have fun.

Try hunting from a ground blind with shoot through windows if you have a hard time being still.

Congrats and welcome to bowhunting. Pop up blinds are best for a new hunter. They will conceal movement. Good luck!

Agreed on the pop up blind if you move a lot. Gander Mountain and Cabelas have some decent sized pop ups for a fair price. Practice shooting from a sitting/kneeling position to mimick shooting from a blind. If you're not on a lease or hunting private land and will be hunting a WMA keep in mind whatever you pack in must to be packed out.

If you're in the metromess area, head out to cinnamon creek and shoot the 3D courses. Or Denton county archers. That will give you some experience shooting from different stand /blind set ups.
