HELP, stranded mouth of the Brazos, west side

A weekend trip has turned had. Waves flooded the boat and now it won't start. We have gas and two good batteries but the switch is shorted so we can't start the motor.

We had to make three trips to bring all of our stuff out here so we have a bunch of crap. Tent, grill, generator.

We are on the west side of the mouth. We have lights, a fire, and a tent. Is anyone close by?

Seven won three, nine six too five 6 fore six

Can you not bypass the switch?

Anyway you can hot wire it? Maybe jump the solenoid.

Make sure you check your relays on the head of the motor. If they start to go out you can tap them with a screwdriver or wrench and get it to fire.

                    Wish I could help.

Which switch? I assume u mean the big battery switch.

Does anything work? Could there be a fuse in the starter circuit that popped?

2 batteries? If you have any tools you can take disconnect one battery and use its cables to jump circuits. They will pop and spark when you touch them, but don't be scared just do it with purpose.
