    New PSE Carbon Bow

Did a search but didn't see any mention of PSEs new carbon bow. Looks interesting. Speed cams, split limbs, different carbon tech with a core to absorb vibration. Glad to see PSE is still trying new things.

THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS... Thanks to PSE’s newly-designed riser geometry, the Shootdown Pro deftly exceeds the high performance, repeatability, and holding standards that target shooters need to compete at a high level, while also delivering the speed and comfort bowhunters need to get the job done on the hunt. SEE THE SHOOTDOWN PRO

    340 fps @ 6 1/8 brace seems reasonable.

$1500 for a bare bow is pretty stout.

Puts in same range as the Hoyts I think.

I personally think it's not appealing, 6 1/8" brace height to get 340? You could shoot a 7+ and get 330. Just my opinion on speed side of things. It is interesting on the looks side though

I'll reserve judgement until or if I shoot it. It's light butt I'm not crazy about the looks. 80% let off is good but a 6" brace height for "up to" 340 fps isn't all that great. However, the thing could shoot like a dream so who knows. At least they stepped out of their personal comfort zone this year and came out with something radical for PSE, although not all that radical to archery.

Looks crazy. Specs aren't impressive, especially coming from pse. Heck even bowtech had the destroyer 340 with a 7" bh, and that was 5-6 years ago. Not knocking it or pse as a company at all. I like their bows, and they are stupid fast, but usually very difficult to draw. Would be interested and open to the idea of giving it a run for its money. Combine that with carbon fiber accessories and you have one helluva backpacking bow..

Wonder if they price it with Hoyt or they have to get that much? I'd like to shoot one.

Same here, I like the plain and simple look also.

Look like HOYT knock- offs. Guess they are trying to get serious.

6 1/8" BH for 340 is not exactly great. An xcentric with a 7" bh hits about 341 real world speed.

Also, the bow is reminiscent of an awkward teenage version of the Hoyt carbon bows....

this is very different technology from Hoyt.

and if you want to say they copied Hoyt because of the large brace, well then Hoyt really just copied Martin.

Then we should find all of this on Harwin then. On a side note Hoyt was established before Martin
