Bulls are running

Took a quick trip down to Matagorda beach last weekend trying to find a place where there wasn't red tide. Well, Matagorda was the place. I usually like to get away on P.I.N.S. but the fish kill there was pretty bad. The trip was great besides the mosquitos at night and the biting flies in the morning. The girls weren't happy at all about that, but when they hooked into those +40" reds they didn't notice the bugs anymore. If you're not in the bow blind, now's the time to go fight these bulls. It's a ton of fun!

Awesome trip amigo!! I use to love catching them of Bob Hall and Port A south jetty. Its been around 12-13 years since I catch one though. Maybe that will change at Sharkathon in two weeks. It be nice with a chance at $7500.

Nice fish. Had some buddies fishing in Surfside this past weekend and all they caught were little sharks. It should really ramp up the next few weeks.

Awesome Report! We use to run down to the coast every year around september.
We would catch them two at a time.

Watch the spray... you can have water gun fight with those things. lol
