How do you fix a twisted peep

I didn't want to wait for the last day before the season to get out my bow and practice a little. So today I found out my peep doesn't line up correctly. Is there an easy fix? I just had the string replaced seven or eight years ago. Is it time for a new one already?

Easy if you have a bow press. If not, the easiest fix I know of is to replace it with a peep that uses elastic tubing to align it.

Pull the string and twist which ever way the peep needs to move.

If you have a D loop on your string you might be able to twist it back so that the peep lines up right when you draw back. They're usually not that tight on the string.

I just twist it back with my teeth at full draw. Works every time 50% of the time.

Align your d loop knots with the peep then cinch the knots down as tight as you can with needle nose pliers.

pull it back a little bit, stick a screw driver in the cam to relieve tension on the string and put a half twist in it, or take 1/2 out.

This man is a pro, listen to him. No way would I use the screw driver method on my bow, but you wont need to if you do what dadio says.

Take it to a bow shop... any bow shop. They are all open 24 hours a day this close to the opener.
