The weight rating on a climber is 300lbs. Is it safe to say a 288lb person could use it safely?

What about your your gear too? Strap it on a tree and see how it feels with you in it. You'll know right away, if it feels unsafe to you then don't since you won't have confidence in your equipment. -

I would bet the weight rating is well below the failure rating. That is why they can say safe up to XX#.
Like said above, I would mount it to a tree at ground level and get on it and let my gut tell me whether or not to trust it.

Thanks Bisch...i havent been on here aunce i moved to IL. Making me miss Texas pretty bad. Knew i could count on some real folks for an answer. Ive never used a climber before.Comment
