Redneck ingenuity

So I'm going after this guy this weekend and at one point in my drive my headlights will shine into his bedding area we think. So I had a moment of redneck ingenuity and made some red lenses for my headlights. What do y'all think

I am doing everything that I can. I am even getting in the blind around 3am

Keep it up and he will slip up eventually. I would be sleeping in the blind if I had to for a chance at that deer. That is the type of deer dreams are made of

I'm not going by it. It is down in evocation so my headlights will shine into the area

Pretty slick.

I would stick a flashlight out the window shining at the road in front of me and turn the headlights off.

Thanks. I've been thinking of doing the same thing on my ranger, but with green lights. I'll have to give this a try.

I bought a roll cellophane like wrapping paper for $3. There is probably enough for 4-5 trucks. I put 4 layers of the cellophane together to get the right amount of light delusion.

I don't want to be "that guy" but those lights aren't going to make you invisible. I hope you get him, but I kind of doubt it will be because of the lights if you do.

So you're saying that deer can see red light? I have never heard that.

Without a doubt they can. It does help, but it isn't invisible. I've got a group of does at in my back yard every night. I shine them with a red light and they burn out like a bad spark plug.
