Yeti Hopper 30 as a Carry On?

Who has tried to carry the Hopper 30 as a carry on? Making a trip to Greece and was thinking of carrying the cooler as carry on, but the dims are slightly bigger than what the website says is allowable so it has me scared to try now.

I have carried my 30 on before, it didn't have ice or liquid in it, just clothes and what not. I wanted to use it on a rafting trip where ice is precious. Worked great, the flight attendants loved it for some reason. I just told them it was my beer purse.

You worried about not finding Coors Light in Greece? You know, they have bottled water there too.

Odd choice to use as carry one luggage. ..but if that's all you got you should be ok. I have got through with bigger

I had a regular size carry on suit case and the Hopper and had no problems.
