I never would have had thought that a woodpecker would do this

Woodpeckers have gotten 4 cameras on my lease. Only one was mine. Seems to happen more if they are mounted to a tree trunk. No reason for a peckerwood to be on a T post so that's where we mount them now.



How we know it's a peckerwood is that is the last picture on the card in every case

I would've agreed with you until I saw one Saturday evening pecking away on a t-post in my backyard. I guess there's not a lot of brains rattling around in their little ****** heads.
