Sadly, I've started missing the pigs. We had them thick in 13 then they just vanished.

Same here in Polk County. We have owned our place for 9 seasons without seeing anything but an occasional passing through sounder or boar.... And then BOOM! They set up shop this summer. Definitely going to start working on them in bow season!!!

Last weekend right before dark my wife and I were watching deer from the back porch at the house, deer left the feeder and worked up to my hand corn as 4 sows with piglets come out at the feeder along with 3 huge boars. Took out one sow and skinned and quartered, hauled off carcass and drove the tractor right through the middle of the herd and they never ran off. Got situated again on the back porch and around 9:15 here they come again 20 yards from the back porch, laid down another sow and called my brother and he ran over and we skinned and quartered it. Now there is 1 sow showing up along with 3 litters of pig around 30 in total. My pig I made pulled pork and some Ragin blaze boudin out of. Waiting for a day off to take care of some more. Have killed around 15 in the last month from the back porch.
