    Smudging

Does anyone else do this? With themselves, their home, a kill? Or just burn safe in their home?

I just recently have had the chance to do myself and my home. I know it is not for everyone, but there is Native American heritage with it and I was just wondering if anyone else does it.

Man, I honestly had to look that one up because it sounded dirty. But once in a while I do a little and like to think it chases out anything I don't want around. You know, that feeling that some good old sage clears away. When the smoke leaves the house, those feelings go with it. Growing up in Hawaii I would have a kapuna come cleanse my house out while he used sage. Never knew it was called smudging. I thought you were some kind of sicko

Lol, that's funny! Never thought it could get turned that way! I do know exactally what you mean though. Just a purified feeling, maybe a little more focussed on things but not like drugged. I have read the smoke from sage does have true thereputic qualities handed down for generations. My wife and I had been fed up with a lot around the house. Tempers were flaring, we weren't comunicating well. Things were just out of whack. Well we said our prayers, to God, we are Christian, and went about the blessing of the home and it was like... A cleansing..?!?! I was a little aprehensive at first, but our surroundings felt better, cleaner. It is hard to explain, but it does work.

I have not yet, but I did make sure to do my Euro at the house. I think I will start to carry some sage on hunts.
