    tech question about arrows/broadhead weght

    I bought some used G5 Stryker heads in 100gr from here and shot them at 10,20,30,40yrds and hit right where I aimed, the problem is I then noticed my Original Muzzy heads we're in 125gr but these to hit directly where I aimed every time.
    I like these little G5 heads, so my question is IF they both hit where I aim why shoot one over the other?
    weight=kinetic energy?
    signed confused! Thanks

    25 grains wont amount to a hill of beans on KE anyhow. Shoot the one you preffer...

      THE 125 has more blade surface it seems.

            It is amazing that they shoot the same all the way out to 40 yards. Shot placement is more important than KE. I am sure you have plenty of KE for whitetail.

              I have a Mathews Outback set at 59# and shoot a 250 arrow, so if both heads hit the same mark which head shoot I shoot a 100gr or 125gr?

                Confidence in what you are using and shot placement are what matters....

                  25 grains will make a difference in your FOC. Search TBH for "FOC", as I remember seeing a web link explaining the optimal balance point for your arrow. If they both shoot the same, however....the balance point may not have changed significantly or the rest of your set up is right on. Hope this helps.

                    25 grains via FOC will be about 1 to 2 percent...

                    My set up is at 9.55 percent with 100 grain heads and just a tad over 10.6 with 125...

                            Aint nuthin wrong with techies Bro. I shot competative for ten years and I'm guilty of it as anyone. Landrover can attest for that. Can't ever be too sure of urself or ur equip...

                              Techs are important, but what is the most important is which do YOU have the most confidence in. They both hit in the same place, so the only real difference is in which you are confident will do the job at and after impact. Good luck!
