Haha. No worry. Hopefully it was a unit that allows spike bulls.

The areas we were in were pretty wooded. Lots of blow downs. Thick stuff in most places. We found some old logging roads and limited use roads to ease the pain.

Looks basically identical to what we hunted. The whole time the Texas hunter in me kept saying "where can we glass from?!". You can forget about it. lol

Congrats Cuz! A DIY elk hunt is on my short list. Got an invite to go this year but I'm pretty sure they were just gonna use me for a pack mule as I didn't have a tag!
