Buying first pair of snake boots

So I am from Colorado where snake boots aren't key to your hunting rig. So now that I live in Texas and hunting season is rolling around I need to invest in my first pair. Any advice? I think I am leaning more to a slip on vs eight million laces.

    Thanks!

Chipawa's!!! Last forever and feel better every time you wear them. No long breakin either.

I have a pair of Lacrosse Snake boots that are slip ons that I really like. I ordered mine online, and just did a search and I am only coming up with a few places to get them. These are the ones I have http://www.ebay.com/itm/LaCrosse-Men...-/111746409586

When I'm going through the nasty stuff I throw on some Turtle Skin Snake Gaiters. Wear them with hiking boots and a pair of shorts. It's cool and I don't worry about bites or thorns. And my socks are clean at the end of the day.

I wasn't a huge fan of my first pair of Chippewas, but I bought another pair that are square toe and they are awesome!

I have always worn chipps. Very comfy after broken in.

I like my Justin's. I'm not sure how a pair of Chippewas feel after you break them in, but straight out the box my Justin's were comfortable as all get out. Where as the Chippewas I tried on hurt my feet in just the little amount of time I had them on trying them on

Chippewas! But get a size larger than normal. Their sizing is a little off.
