    African plains game safari $$$

Those who have done the 10-12 day plains game safaris with a bow. Where abouts price wise are you looking at when it comes to total price including air fair trophies etc. seen some prices that don't look too bad but hear once you get there it adds up real quick.

$5K to $10K depending on what you shoot.

I would say more like 8-12k (or more), depending on what you shoot, if you are hunting 10 days and including taxidermy of all animals. You can easily cut 3-5k (again, depending on how much you shoot) off if you do not mount your animals and only get the horns done.

It's cheaper now than when I went and it was 8-10k then. I think you could easily do 10 days 4-5 animals for 7k without airfare

Sky is the limit if you shoot well and get bored.....8-12 sounds about right if you set a budget

I think your request has too many variables to answer. First what country? South Africa and Namibia are the least expensive flight wise, but higher trophy costs than Zimbabwe or Botswana for example. Also what animals? For example a Sable in SA will run you $12,000 completely blowing your budget out of proportion.

Also are you getting the taxidermy done there(don't do it) or here? Who are you using, your buddy that does your whitetails or Mike Boyce in Reno?

Im not busting your chops, but narrow it down a bit. Something like, South Africa; Kudu, Eland, Waterbuck, Zebra, Impala, Blue Wildebeest, Nyala, Bushbuck, Gemsbok, Warthog. Shipping hides and horns back to be mounted in the US by ________________. Or Zimbabwe; Sable, Kudu, Red Lechwe, Bushpig, etc.

That is with no taxidermy or freight right? That will add about 4-6k to the total making it fall in the 10-12k range which is in line with the norm. Plus air fair of course.
