OT Bluewater Highway

Does anyone know if the San Luis Toll rd is open and how far down the highway can you go before the road is washed out? Can you get to Christmas Bay?

I don't believe you can. I think it's washed out right before or right after Access 5.

It is passable now but not very easy, these were the day the storm came in.
Power is back on down to access #3 however it is still not open to the general public.

You can get to San Luis Pass from Surfside, but you're supposed to be a property owner. The road is very washed out, but if you have a truck you will be fine. 4x4 would be a plus. It looks like this for the 2nd half of the drive from Surfside to San Luis Pass.

One of my favorite places to fish in the fall is Christmas Bay. I was hoping to do alot of fishing this year. Hopefully they can make enough repairs that we can stick a red or two.
