Very strange or am I seeing things

This is 9 miles south of Uvalde, TX right near Nueces river This Morning...

Normally, I'd say Dec 15 is usually the rut... You tell me what you see with the Does Hocks and the buck chasing in back to back photos... I've hunted this area for 15 years and never seen ANY ACTIVITY IN THIS AREA TILL THE 1st/2nd week of Dec!

    What say the Green Screen?

Interesting... No way to be sure with just those pictures.

What it looks like in game cams isn't always what it is.

Being said, some does can be early and/or late. The majority may be in the timeframe that you're used to but that's just the trend.

I've read studies where they checked roadkill doe to see when they were bred and some were bred in sept and October. Most in November. And a few in December and January.

Every year for as long as i can remember i have seen younger bucks irritating the does from day one of bow season. But never see a mature buck chasing until nov.

              Yes and yes.

Seriously, it seems way early for any interaction.
I was looking for a panther or Bigfoot for a few minutes.

???? How can you infer any of that from those images?

To me it just looks like a buck feeding in the background, and both deer were startled by something off camera

Doe will usually stick to the schedule, but don't always. I saw two bucks in velvet chasing a doe they would only push with there shoulders and try to get in front of the other guy. I was cutting a pasture on a 55hp tractor and the shredder was 15 about feet wide, so lots of noise. Neither buck seemed to care, when love is in the air there are no rules. Yes I drink but wasn't that day as I was accused of by family and friends.

That buck is a corn junkie. He's just pushing her off the corn.

Velvet shedding occurs shortly after a large influx of testosterone. This enables bucks to be able to successfully breed, but also results in bachelor groups breaking up (start getting mad at each other and fighting). From this time forward, they are constantly checking does, some more actively than others. Once they they find their first 'hot' doe of the year, they check in earnest. He may have been checking, but doubtful she was ready yet (not impossible though).
