FedEx dropped a package off at the gate and I was walking down the driveway to retrieve the package. I got within about 6 feet before I saw it. Subconsciously I guess I thought it was a stick. He is a good snake now.

Not a cottonmouth. It's one of the water snakes, not sure which one. I'm not looking it up though.
