Hopefully Mallet plays well or it will really be time to hit the panic button. I'm not excited at all about savage, and any QB we draft will need some time to develop.

          QB

It's mallets job now, I doubt we go to hoyer again unless he tanks for multiple, multiple games. I don't think mallet will give it up. Time to cross our fingers, hope he's stays healthy and let's go

Neither are the answer but Mallet fits the role better than Hoyer in my opinion.

Mallet has the potential to be a pretty decent quarterback imo. I thought he looked like a NFL qb when he was playing at Arkansas. He has really never had his shot besides the one good start last year before he tore his pectoral muscle. I think if it were not for that injury Hoyer would have never been picked up and mallett would have remained the starter. He has a rocket launcher for an arm and is decisive. He will make his mistakes like every other inexperienced quarterback but has a definite upside. What he becomes remains to be seen but it's hard to be worse than Hoyer. Look at it this way...we were 12-4 with Matt Schaub at quarterback so that shows you that you don't have to have an Aaron Rodgers to win games. If the defense starts playing to their potential and with the weapons we have at receiver, I think we will be alright.

On another note. Arian Foster was on the field today

I agree. I think he's hungry for it and he'll tear it up!

                      Desperation is a stinky cologne.

                              nope

trailing 42-0 , Mallet gets yanked in the 3Q as Hoyer leads the Texans to 3 TD's during mop up duty

I feel for the Texans fans
