    Nobody can take a joke anymore.

    Too many feelings are wore on shirt sleeves these days.

    Jokes are meant to make people smile. Smiling is good for the heart and soul!

    Sometimes jokes are not tactful and in poor taste but they should be seen partially for what they are...a joke.

    People are way too easily offended these days.

    I expect a police officer to be able to differentiate that if anyone should. I expect more from a police officer than I do a Whataburger employee.

        Police officer is not a race. It is a profession.

          It sounds like your assuming that the Whataburger employee was telling the truth and not just trying to save his rear end. I mean did anyone expect the dude to come out and say, "Yeah, that's exactly what I said and I meant every word it?" I don't think that's very likely.

          I'm sorry, but if I own a retail establishment and an employee refuses service to anyone without a dang good reason, they'd be fired.
