    Go directly to your account. It will have any alerts noted there. If you look at the sender address, you will probably see it is not from them. Paypal never has you go to their site through an email link.

      Well I went to my account, and didn't see any alerts or notifications that anything was wrong. Guess it was a scam after all. Thanks everyone for the help!

        I got the same message about a week ago. I deleted the email and logged into my account to check it and everything was fine. Figured it was a scam.

          Never click on a link. Probably 75% of those emails are scams. As stated above, log out of email, go directly to your account and see if there is a notice/message posted. I have been surprised to find that something actually is going on. Usually not though. Some of those scams are really very well done.
