OK, so I was loading my 4-wheeler the other day and I almost ran it right through my back glass, so I figured I better get started on that headache rack I have been planning. Just curious as to whether or not anyone has noticed a difference in their aerodynamics with a headache rack or not, either wind noise and whistles, or even fuel economy. Ive have headache racks before, but on older trucks that weren't built with much aerodynamic design in mind. I also had one on an 06 GMC that whistled at certain speeds. Im building my own and was wondering if anyone with a newer style Ram has noticed any change from the addition of a rack.
Before the haters show up and chastise me for being concerned about fuel economy in a truck, Yes, I drive my truck daily and I am concerned about fuel economy in it. If you cant understand that, it must be nice to be rich enough not to care about fuel economy, or to own a truck and an economy car
. Im a teacher and cant afford both, so bite me
. I hope that covers that part of the issue.
