I was thinking this too! I've seen a couple of not to nice words written in diesel covered up with black paint.

We had the same thing happen at Boerne Champion a few years back. They trenched the fresh sod pretty bad. Ended up being kids from a neighboring town. Took the ground crew a while to get it playable because the trenches were so deep.

That ain't cool and I sure hope I don't know who did it. Probably will...
In reality that's not bad at all.
The level damage has been blown WAY out of proportion.
Back in the 80's we started play on fields much worse than that and left them far, far worse condition than when we started.

The knuckleheads need to be dealt with but I hope they aren't to terribly hard on them. It's just country kids doing knucklehead country things. They probably had a few beers in the truck. If caught, their punishment should be to fix it and have them to push mow the field 10 times. At least...

I've had a couple redneck knuckleheads tear MY yard up Wwaaayy worse than this. 1 talk with their dad and problem solved. No law involved. He was more mad than I was...

I think RonaldB coaches there. Hope he'll chime in.

Probably dumb kids, but better than pouring gas in rival schools abbreviations and setting on fire. Still wrong either way.

In case anyone wonders what's wrong with HS athletics, here's a clue:

"These are the two most sacred pieces of property outside the church that you're going to find in this town," said Greg Anderson, Superintendent of Danbury ISD.
