That's a good one. He looks like a Moore Plantation deer, from a few years back. Same crab claw rack. Hope you get him.
Yeah, there are certain genetic traits that seem to pop up a lot in East Texas.
This buck is to the south of Sabine county, but I know the traits range that far.
The traits I have seen include split brow tines, stickers on the g2's, split g2's, bladed brow tines, round brow tines, beams that are round, beams that palmated, beams that are ridged, every once in a while a dropped tine.............all awesome.
I hoped everyone is pumped up as my buddies and I are. It's getting close.
