A New Beer

Well for me anyways. Went to HEB today and they had an end cap of this so I grabbed a six pack. Not cheap. 11.25 for a six. Holy crap does it ever taste like root beer. It could be dangerous cause it is crazy good. 5.9% alcohol to boot. If you're into trying new and different beers give it a taste. **** good IMO.

It's pretty good and gaining market share each week. It's reported in the Midwest and Northeast markets that it's put a 3% dent in each of Bud and Miller Lite sales at the close of Labor Day sales cycle.

For the naysayers, it's actually made by Pabst if that makes a difference. It was a huge hit at the Galveston Get Crafty Event.

Don't drink it as "drinking beer" is way too sweet for that. Now drink it as alcoholic root beer, great!

Rod Ryan Show on 94.5 in Houston has been talking nonstop about it. I haven't seen it in stores yet. But I also haven't been grocery shopping in over a month

I guess, first sip was like man that's root beer, I liked it less after each drink I took. I shared the rest of the 6 pack with different friends and they did the same.
