Gator bite was good Friday

We got some good ones in the rain Friday! The three big ones were 10'1, 10'3, and 10'6. Too bad the buyer is only paying $15/ft over 8 feet right now...

Nice Haul.
Best and biggest gators we ever caught were after rain and a little front. It triggers those big boys to feed. We had 5 over 10' and a 12'6"

Big bull gators like that aren't worth killing for 15/ft. I think if you could book some hunts, at least that would make it worth it.

I know, I probably won't even hunt anymore this year. I almost threw up when I saw the prices, I kinda thought it was a joke.

Because all the buyers in Louisiana want farm raised gators. The prices right now are 6' and under $5/ft, 6-8' $10/ft, over 8' $15/ft. It was 3 times that the last few years..
