    Basically it's a Leon placed against the property which allows the property owner to retain ownership and full use of the property until they pass away then it automatically becomes the property of the recipient named on the lien. An estate lawyer can explain it a lot better.

        Like I said, talk to an estate planning attorney as they can explain it far better than I. It's my understanding that the way that it is written the "deed" will be in my name immediately.
