    Looking for a free arrow trajectory calculator for know velocity and arrow weight. Online, Excel, or iPhone app would be helpful.

    The attached chart is a good start but, lacking.

          @rivercityjeff

          This is Mark, I run BestCrossbowSource. I noticed traffic coming in from this website to mine and figured I'd pop in to see what's up, when I saw your post. I took your words about our chart "lacking" to heart and asked my programmer to reach out to another fellow hunter, who happens to run his own website and has created a certain calculator over 16 years ago which might be helpful to you. We asked for permission to obtain the code and built upon it / modified it using information from the classic Exterior Ballistics of Bows And Arrows paper by W.J. Rheingans (Google for it if interested).

          The result is the following on-site calculator, which I just posted onto the site a few minutes ago: bestcrossbowsource . com / crossbow-arrow-ballistics-calculator (I hope it's OK for me to post the link despite being a new member - you will need to remove the spaces within the link for it to work).

          I hope you find it a little more useful than the original chart you linked to, and I plan on including a function that will map the results of the calculator's results onto a graph, for easier viewing.

          If you have any comments or requests for functions, please let me know and I'll see what we can do.

          Thanks,
          Mark
