Lake Somerville warning!

Lake Somerville is going to be a crap shoot tomorrow! They are having a bass tournament and it's the teal opener! Watch where you're shooting and most of the bass guys won't see duck hunters!

Lake is barely above normal pool now....just 6 inches above full.

Then it's come down 3 or 4 feet in 2 weeks. Overlook Sunday before school started

Yep its been dropping a foot every 4 days when it was at its peak. Level now is 238.52

I've fished around coastal duck hunters all my life.

It's pretty simply to see the Decks from a ways off and avoid the area...

Hopefully the "bass fishermen" won't get their trolling motors tangled up in the decoy lines too bad.. ...or get hooked on the lines tryin' to "flip a jig" under 'em...

A lot of people on Somerville don't use dekes. We use to just shoot them flying by. Also does anybody know where the iron bridge boat drop in is?
