I have both a the only thing I don't like about the hopper is the opening is to small and hard to dump a case of beer into it. I gave the hopper to the wife and just use the roadie or my bigger yetis. hopper is nice for the beach and etc.. its easy to carry.

I have both, but would choose the Hopper if I had to choose one. So much easier to carry!

Get the roadie.
The hopper's opening is small and the zipper grabs your skin when you're pulling your drinks out.

Dang, I didn't think it'd be practical to have a hopper and a roadie but I'm thinking about adding a hopper to the collection!

I have a roadie and really like it but have been trying to not spend the money on a hopper but I really want one. Probably won't be long before I get one. I like using a soft cooler for ease to carry, however all the ones I've ever had leak. That's why I want the hopper.
