Repel hunters bug spray

I'm not sure if it's a gimmick or not but I picked some up today. I gave it a spray in the store an it smell like cover scent and not deet so I thought I would give it a try. I am usually covered in mosquitoes during bow season even when I have my thermacel.

Buy the permethrin spray (Repel and others make it) and spray your clothing and let dry before wearing. Do not spray on skin.
It'll last a couple of weeks even after washing.

I wasn't too crazy about it when I saw it in the store. If I could still smell the "repellant" smell with the dirt smell I'm sure the deer can too.
