Some advice for some that may not know.

Took my kids fishing today and had a blast. Also found an awesome opportunity to teach them something and thought I would share.
If there is a boat in the parking lot loading and un strapping a boat don't swing around block the ramp and start unloading your pickup into your boat for twenty minutes holding up people that took care of that business before launching.
I told my daughter if you ever date a boy that does that hit him in the neck drive off and leave him. She said ok daddy so I think she my have learned something

Good for you. Boat ramp etiquette is lost on most folks. Some just don't know, some just don't care and some are just dumber than hell.

Lol I only have a Jon boat so I just drop the boat and park the truck then carry what little I can fit in the boat down

Typically your twice a year type of boater. They think they're hurrying but are clueless as to the etiquette of a boat ramp.

Good advice. I will remember this as most of the time I launch before daylight where I am less likely to encounter the idiot crowd.

There are 49 weekends to go to the lake. Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day, stay home or go somewhere else. I'm blessed to fish a few dozen times a year, and so I avoid those days.
