    Recliner recommendations?

Getting ready to make the move to recliners for the living room. Recommendations please for a stout, comfortable, recliner. I'm kind of a big boy and don't like sinking down into furniture. Thanks ~

I had a Flexsteel for many years. It was not cheap at $600 in about 1982 and did not hold up very well. We bought a couple of Lanes about ten years ago. They were pretty cheap at around $300 for both. It was a buy one get one free sale. Darn things have held up really well.

My advice, go try them out. Pay attention to head support fully reclined, as if you intended to sleep in it for the night.

Any particular La Z Boy model? I'll be going by the La Z Boy store this week.

X2 for flexsteel. $1100 for a leather, but it sits well & big enough for my son & me to watch fishing shows together on sat morn!

That place scares me. So large.

I'm not sure of the model I have. You will need to go to the store and kick back in them. Take your time and pick the one that fits you best. If the store clerks get frustrated, too bad. You are investing in something that will last many years, and you don't want to have any regrets after the purchase.

10-4. I'm 100% in on this thought process.

La-Z-Boy only way to go. It's the only chair you can lean back with the foot rest in and still rock. Get the big man's chair.

Wife and I bought Lane recliners from Gallery Furniture. So far so good. I initially set out to get LaZBoy but after talking with my parents, who have always had LaZBoy, they said the quality has nose dived compared to what it used to be.
