Well to start it off I think our shelter turned out great. The sub floor was old pallets from work we were given and the floor was done with deck boards that was donated from an above ground pool deck that was torn down along with all the 2x6's for the rafters. We had to purchase tin for the roofing and blocks to level it up and some treated 2x4's. We have all together $250 in this build. The shelter is 16ftx12ft. I think it turned out nice for nearly free.

That's not too bad for next to free. Will the pallets hold up to weather?

These pallets are all 2x6's on 2x6 beams three deep. 14,000lb oil field equipment come in them. We sprayed them down and sealed them so they should last awhile I hope, but for next to free I will take it. Everything else is all treated.
