Here's a little lesson on perspective with stages... As most people are figuring out... If you take a cell phone pic of a computer screen, you can distort an image to make antlers look larger. The same thing can be done with a perspective editor for any image that will not show the typical computer screen "lines".

Take a look at what can be done to a deer that is already "big" just by jacking with perspective...

"Photo or it didn't happen" doesn't really mean much anymore... Try scoring the deer in the original and then score him at the end and see for yourself how much difference it makes.

Good points Marko and one that I've been thinking about posting myself. I see all the pics of computer screens, some skewed, some not, but I am hesitant to give a guess knowing that. Post the originals folks and you'll get more accurate information and more input.

Its quite obvious when perspective is off. Deer don't usually walk around looking like bride of frankstein. I'll agree with you on the fact that its the most annoying thing I see on TBH. People posting outlandishly out of perspective photos of photos and asking for a real score. And then 30 people comment trying to give them a real score. While I know that everyone on TBH is doing it for the ease of taking a photo of a photo (and not intentially to mislead) its still annoying if they truly want a real score quote. Its a lot like asking to guess a girls weight based on her profile picture.

Yep,we know a guy who won't send us anything but pics taken from cell phone,off the computer screen for this exact reason & we picked up on it real quick!
He even does it with his LDP's.

You can tell it was messed with. The Devers body is way out of proportion.
However, the purpose is noted and still viable. With a bit more playing around it could come out perfect.

IMO People that post the out of perspective pics aren't interested in a real score. They are just trying to get a rise out of someone by turning their 17" wide 130GBC buck into a 22" wide 150GBC buck. Like they are fooling us. It makes me laugh.
