    Value question

Could anyone give me an approximate value on the following? I have a chance to pick it up and was wondering what would be a good price and if it is worth it. Also, can the draw length be adjusted on this bow.

Matthews Drenalin, 29 in draw, 70 lb weight. Comes with a quiver, 3 pin sight, and a whisker biscuit rest. Has a peep and stabilizer as well. It is in pretty good shape, with a few small dings, but nothing major.

I would upgrade the sight, rest, and strings and would buy new arrows and a new cam, if it can be adjusted.

    Thanks in advance.

I searched the classifieds and saw them priced from 300.00-400.00.

Drenalin is/was my favorite Mathews bow. I wouldn't pay more than $400 for a whole set up though and realistically closer to $300

Depends on the assesories. However that bow is several years old and not made anymore. You will have to find a different came to change draw length which may be an issue. It would have to have a decent sight on it to be worth $300. You said it had a whisker bisquit rest so that is not worth much.

Call a Mathews dealer and get the pricing on a new cam to change the drawlength. If you're paying for accessories you won't use and face a bill for the cam and installation, you may be most of the way to a new bow. My daughter bought a PSE Stinger X list for $300 which is nice, my son just took off for elk camp with a Mission Ballistic for $499 list if you want to stay in the Mathews family.
