I have seen them tossing flounder around by the jetties in Galveston. Is this a real picture though? The eye on the redfish looks wrong. I didn't think there would be that much pupil at that angle.

I sat at a rig outside of Galvez during the snapper season. Every cast was a 14" red snapper . . . . I'd get em off the hook and drop em and a dang dolphin would swim up and eat em. I untied to move to rig a few miles away and they started following me, afterburner and hustled to the next rig, tied up and started fishing. Again undersized snapper.

15 minutes or so here come that handful of dolphin sitting under me stealing the snapper when i dropped em. Was actually really cool.

Can stand when i see em and i'm wading or in the boat. SOB's always show up right when i get in em.

                  They're just practicing their routine.

Had that happen before too. It was at the end of the day so we started feeding them the bait that was left over and evetually we were hand feeding them. It was pretty dang cool.

They don't like firecrackers so drop a couple at the rigs when they show up. (If you're only going for snapper). Usually the snapper are too deep to care and it scares the porpoise away. Not that I've ever done this though.

If a dolphin had me around the belly, my eyes would be popping out of my skull..

cause that would be highly illegal
