        Great story.

I personally make it a point to show all LEO the upmost respect anytime I come in contact with them. It's rare that I do when I'm not on the ambulance or at the FD though, but even then I give em some brotherly love- ya know offer them a donut or ask them if they wanna touch the fire truck

In all seriousness though, thank you to all LEOs on TBH and not on TBH.

61 years service between me and little brother. Im retired, lil brother still going.
Its a sad thing going on now with my brothers and sisters with a badge.
I once let a fireman ride in my patrol unit but he wet the seats.
I appreciate ALL the FIREPERSONS AND EMTS.

We can never thank them enough for what they do for us. My daughter will be in the Dallas Police Academy that starts this month and my son takes his poly tomorrow for a S/E Texas Police Department. His academy would start in January.

With all the Officers being shot lately I will worry even more, but I am very proud off both of them for choosing this profession.

Thanks to all the LEO's and their families for their sacrifices.

That was a very generous and noble thing that you did there.

Thank you for this, I don't get my feelings hurt when people disrespect me, but it is nice when people like yourself go out if their way to say thank you! So thank you sir! And LEO'S, watch your six!

Yup. ^^^. I understand what's part of my job and what I will have to deal with but things like this thread give me hope and help me remember there are still a bunch of supporters out there.

I am going to take a not so wild guess that he has ridden with me many times.

My younger brother Jessie is a Conroe Police Officer. He is just getting started in his career and I really worry about the times ahead. As I get near the end of mine I look back and wonder if I would do it again, knowing what I know now. I'll be going to the 7th or 8th officer funeral on Friday. Worked with some great folks and even met my wife in the dept.

So yeah...I would probably do it again but I sure would have done some things different.
