What time does your feeder throw in bow season and why?

I have mine throw at 7 and 7:30AM and 6 and 630PM. I have it on high RPM for 4 seconds a shot. For West Texas we have HIGH winds and the sound of the feeder brings them running. So if the wind is up I give them two chances to hear it go off. I have also watched deer many times coming already from a long ways off break into a trot when they hear it a second time. I also like the second throwing because it re-positions deer for a shot without freaking them out. They run a few yards then come back.

1st morning throw is the crack of dawn and then an hour later. 1st afternoon is 2 hours before dark and then again 1-1/2 hours before dark.

1st throws are 20 seconds and 2nd throws are 10 seconds. Spinner plate is pretty tight to the funnel thus allowing this to throw a little further out than when I used to have it lower.

5 feeders. 3 of my feeders are 6 volt and the other 2 are 12 volt. The 12's are half the length of time per throw stated above for the 4 feedings per day.

10 minutes before sunrise 365 days a year--because it is light enough to see my target.

Evening throws 1 1/2 before sunset 365 days a year

One hour before it's too dark to see my pins for the PM hunt and 5mins before it's light enough to take a shot.

Do you change your feed times daily? How do you get it to go off 10 minutes before sunrise 365?

Doesn't.....Prefer not to hunt over feeders anymore. Used to and I'm not against it, but the quality of bucks I see now is not even close and the level of "alertness" is reduced also.

I set mine 15 min before sunrise time in the am and 1.5 hours before sunset. That morning gives me corn on the ground with good shooting light and that evening time gives me 2 hours of corn on the ground other than my hand corn. In Oct it's warm so our deer move early and late. Might as well have the corn there when they are moving. I change them after the last hunt that weekend in preparation for the next hunt usually two weekends after.

The timer has a program in it that when you set it up you plug in the date, day, year, along with longitude and latitude for the area. It adjust daily, just occasionally add corn.

7am and 3pm. I like throwing early in the afternoon because I will be in the stand. I see deer, and get pics, soon after 3pm.

2 morning feeders (assuming my brother let's me hunt over one of his feeders that I fill) and 1 evening feeder. 8am on the morning feeders and 4pm on the evening feeder, non DST. We don't have a lot of deer on the place, though, and I honestly don't expect much during bow season. The rut tends to bring respectable bucks on to our place if any show up.
