    Having to cancel Colorado 2015

Going through the process of buying a new house (mobile home). Looks like by the time paperwork, site prep, build to spec and delivery of house, hook ups and move in are done it will be the end of October. The 28th was my departure date. Just how things go sometimes....I'll put in for next year.

    Here's the house: http://www.sehomestexas.com/fct466g1/

I'm also delayed due to house sell and land purchase. Supposed to close on or before 9/11. Hopefully before, as this travel trailer is getting really small.

It'll still be there when you get back.

Try and delay it if possible. Or the odds are that something with the process will be delayed anyway. Go hunting.

She'll get over it. You only have so many elk seasons in your life. You can buy a house anytime.

This is some sound logic. I'd go with this kind of thinking. Don't they usually ask when you'd like to close anyway? "Sorry honey, the mortgage guy said we couldn't close until the day after I get back from my elk hunt. So I guess I might as well go."

Delaying it intentionally isn't an option because I don't want a divorce . Momma has planned a birthday party for the last weekend of Oct or first weekend of Nov for our daughter. In order for me to be able to make the trip the house will have to be fully functional by the 27th. I'm still holding out some hope!

I wished you lived closer I'd help you set up the place anyway I could.

The weather is perfect that time of year for outside parties. Have it somewhere else, where you don't have to clean up so you can get on the road.

Well things might be looking up for my trip. They have a home on their lot and the wife has agreed to get it instead of having the one built and tweaked to our liking. It was only a couple of minor changes that we should be able to do anyways once we get everything set up. Site prep and delivery should all be done early October so it looks like my trip to Colorado is tentatively back on!!!!
