Had a trashy trailer park and a democrat, as well as queso today. Loved the trailer park, didn't finish the democrat. The queso was real good.

Ate there only once and was not impressed with the food or drink. Way too high a price for what they had to offered here in Lubbock. Actually a pathetic amount of food for the price!

I completely agree. Their queso and other sauces are really good. Other than that...

Tortillas: terrible
Meat: often overcooked and flavorless
Sodas: I don't want a mexicola, I want a DP!!

But hey, at least it's trendy!

I'm with you. Ive only eaten there once, mainly because of a thread I saw on TBH. I was thoroughly disappointed.

I've eaten at that one in Katy a couple times. It is ok and unique, but wouldn't go too far out of my way to eat there. That is just my take. To me,a yuppie version of a street taco.

Ate the scalding pig today! Mother of God it burns!

I made it through week 1 and 2.... I tried a bite of the scalding pig and it tried to claw it's way up my throat.

Went there this past week and had the Bottle Rocket and it nearly burned my throat out but I got er done with minimal tissue loss, also had the Barn Burner which was in my opinion an aweful tasting taco in which I didnt finish. That one sucked. But overall I love Torchys just wish they had real soda selection.
