    Where do you practice?

This is sort of tagging along on another thread about shooting the backyard fence. If you live in a sub division and you can't practice in your backyard, where do you practice? Amy suggestions?

I shoot into the woods or the fence. People who shoot and plan on their target being the back stop and beyond that is someone else's property are not to sharp. Hell shoot into your own garage if you have too

Into the garage. In the process of setting up a carpet backstop, overhead lighting, and several targets. Gonna be nice when it's done!

My neighbors are cool with our bow shooting since we got rid of the raiding coons that were tipping the trash every night. As long as the kids are not in the yards around us, we are good to go. Sharing venison with the neighbors also helps get permission. In my case anyway.

Use to shoot down the hallway when I was in a apartment. Never got that damage deposit back

I shoot across my front yard, but with that being said I am at the end of the street and nothing but pasture behind the target. I think the garage thing would be a great idea. I am moving soon and will be in this same situation. Just be safe. Use your head. You know what is dangerous and what is not.

My city ordinances stated that I can shoot in my yard if I have my neighbor's permission to shoot into or across their yard. I got that from him. I shoot across my back yard, about 24 yard shot, into/toward the corner of the fence. I use a Kodiak (?) Big Green Target 23x23 with a piece of treated 3/4" plywood backing. I have had field points go through the entire setup about 2", but behind that there is a new cedar fence.
