Patton was made in 1970, that's not really an old movie unless you're still wet behind the ears....

Wouldn't be all that hard to place a train in a tunnel and then close it up.

All of this makes me think about the movie Monuments Men and the true story of the Americans and British who were tasked with locating all of the stolen art.

There were many salt, copper, iron mines that the Nazi's used to fuel their military. They also built weapons inside them and used them to stash all of the art and gold. It's not that hard to imagine they hid a train in one of these mines and then sealed off the entrance.

Seth. Take the time to watch Kellys Heros. Well worth it. It's one of Eastwoods best imo.

Also google images of Nazi armored train. Maybe a rough idea of what they are looking for?

The Nazis really spread themselves thin by attacking Russia on the eastern front but they probably would have been successful on all fronts had the US not entered the war.

What's funny is Hitler declared war on the US after we declared war on Japan following Pearl Harbor. We were still trying to avoid the European conflict but Hitler intervened and the rest is history.

The Nazis were well ahead of everyone in scientific and weaponry knowledge.
Mental blunders, logistics, and facism became their doom.
Of all three logistics may have been the biggest. No petro.

Probably in one of the many caves where they have built their war machines. There was one that they couldn't get in because of the danger of collapsing, if dug out the rubbles Nazis blew it up. It was on one of the Underground show that I watched year or two ago. Fascinating stuff for sure. Way ahead of us in many aspect.
