    Bow mount for GoPro

For those of you into videoing your hunt, how do you mount your GoPro/camera? On your bow or mounted on something else?

I have a diy making one. Its very simple. However, reverse angle with a gopro is better. Using it remotely.

I've seen flashlight mounts that screw in to the stabilizer. But I'm not sure if all that weight out that far would make shooting the bow awkward.

If you search DIY for GoPro you will find the thread. Its simple and goes behind the stabilizer. Little more forward weight. But you really cant tell.

I took a piece of steel bar stock 1 inch wide and about 4 inches long. Bent it 90 degrees, drilled holes for screws. My rubber stabilizer screws it onto the bow. Camera threaded wing screw to attach the camera, and a little rubber inner tube glued on to absorb shock

They sell a mount that clamps onto the handle bars of a bike that works really well for attaching mine to my stabilizer!

Truglo make a rail that goes along with your stab and then run the picatinney mount.

Made my own for a fraction of the cost of the gopro type mount.

I use a clamp with a flexible arm that GoPro makes. Works like a champ

Don't use a GoPro for the bow mounted cam because I can't zoom to get the detail I want. Used a little Samsung (same one in the video above) to shoot this.

Skip to 5:40 on the timeline to get to the actual shot.

Well I think I might have found a solution to mounting a Camera on my bow. It's rock solid and I can't feel the weight of it when I'm holding my bow. I'll do some test runs tonight on a target to see how it does.

I just got a camera and want to mount it high on my bow for self-filming. What is that you are using?

I use this to mount on my bow and shotgun during turkey season. Works like a charm.
