I started a facebook group its called RAK Texas. Please post any random acts of kindness that you do onto the page. I am hoping that it will inspire others to pay it forward.
I understand that. My hope is that the more people see it on their news feed and read about all the RAKs that they will continue to pass it on and pay it forward.
My most recent RAK:
I was recently relocated for work from Jackson, MS to Russellville, AR. We had a large brown leather sectional that I had placed on CL to sell. I was asking $350 for it (way under what it was worth) and had 3 deals fall though. I was out of town when I got a text asking if I still had it so I replied yes, but it would be XX amount of days before I would be back in town to make the deal. She was super excited about the couch and proceeded to tell me that she was a newly wed and her and her husband have always wanted a couch like this etc.... well the day before our arranged pick up date I texted her and asked if everything was still a go. She texted back and said she couldn't because she had some unexpected moving costs and she only had $100 left in her moving budget. I told her to go ahead and come pick up the couch anyhow and we would work something out. When she arrived her we got the couch loaded for her and when she went to hand me the $100 I asked her if she has ever heard of RAK. She said no so I then explained to her what it was and that she had just been RAK'd and the deal was she had to pay it forward. Her and her husband were beside themselves and it made me feel incredible. To know that I was able to help them out and give them something like that truly made both mine and their days.

The best part. Those that dont give of themselves to others will never understand this.
