De-program auto locks on 07 Tahoe????

My wife is adamant about turning the feature off. Every time she puts the vehicle in drive it snaps the locks to "locked". When she puts it in park it snaps the locks in "unlocked". It usually happens while my infant daughter is sound asleep & it wakes her up.

    Any instructions???

Google it and you will most likely find a youtube video explaining how to turn this on or off. On my 04 Z71 there is a menu system accessed through the steering wheel controls. You can select when the doors lock (when put into drive, at 10mph or off).

On a side note, if my wife is driving around with our infant child I would set those lock to activate when put into gear and would not allow it be changed. Too many evil people in the world for me to be concerned about waking the baby. Its a personal choice but to me the safety factor is a larger concern, then again I live too close to Houston so my views may be somewhat jaded.

I'm pretty sure it's on the steering wheel.
I think you scroll through the functions and turn them off. That's how it is on my Silverado.

That's how it's been on every vehicle I've owned that had the auto locks.

On an 07, your menu buttons should be to the right side for the steering wheel on the dash. I believe the settings button is the bottom one. Just cycle thru that till you find the vehicle settings and use the check mark to select the things you wanna change. At least that's how it is on my wife's 08.

This is how we did it. My wife worked in Houston for a few months, so I turned this feature on.
