Converting a photocell feeder

I have a Kenco photocell feeder that I've had forever and still works perfectly. I'm wanting to add a timer, is that easy to do?

Yep I converted 2 of them.

Simple if the timer will fit. Remove wires from motor, hook up timer motor leads, hook up battery, done!

That's easy enough! Thanks for the info. The timer fitting in the housing will be an issue. I'm thinking of removing everything from its original housing and installing it in a military ammo can.
