    Deer blind help

Ive already framed out a 4x6 frame. Putting a 2' porch off back for entry. Using 2" sq tubing 6' for legs, is it necessary or better to angle the legs out? Tower will be appx 5' from ground to bottom of stand. It will have 1 5/8" pipe on leg bottom for runners. I plan to anchor corners w t posts and rebar pieces over runners.

A little angle will be good.

I'd say wider is better for stability and wind .

            Wider better

Depends a lot on your location, lots of wind or well shielded? If going straight, use angled tie-down cable/straps...

Ok thanks. I was leaning that way too. Thought i might widen them across the 4ft side. Like maybe a ft on each side? Not sure about how to do it. Its an open area, in panhandle, limited trees.

We built this 4x8 2 years ago.
Has 4'' square tubing at corners angled outward.
                  We use 4x4s for legs.
                  This one had 8' legs.
We use forks on front of tractor to lift.
                  Anchor it in place.
Had wind lay a 4x6 with 6' legs on its side.
