Exactly. Off topic threads don't just stop when hunting or football season starts, either.

I was at a volleyball game last week watching my daughter play and when the boys got out of football practice, they came in to watch. There was a couple of them rocking a mullet. One of them was the perfect Joe Dirt mullet. My daughter said there was 4 or 5 high school guys with mullets this year.

Maybe I should grow mine back out like it was 1989 again.

            Goatees definitely not "in"

You see the older guys hanging on to it though and some of the younger guys who can't fill in the rest

I bet you guys who are worried about men's facial hair styles probably shave your arms and legs and pluck your eyebrows too.

              Dang metrosexuals..

I thought the goatee was for guys who didn't have mirrors to fold out?

Hard to imagine the goat going out. I see it everywhere. It's the perfect facial hair. No creeper mustache only and no full beard to deal with. Easy to trim and shave around.
have had a goatee for over 20 hrs. I keep in groomed weekly.

Any man who spends his spare time shaving below the neck, has too much spare time.

Do you spend a lot of time worrying about colors and fabric too?

I fluctuate. Wife hates me clean shaven bc she says it makes it look like she robbed the cradle.

Yep, there are several high school boys around here that are rocking the mullet and have for a year or two. One kid has naturally curly hair so it almost looks like his is permed, lol. I guess that means mullets are the new goatee or even beard.

With the exception of a few days total, I've had at least a goatee since I graduated high school in 2000. I originally grew it to hide my baby face and now it also hides an extra chin pretty well. I grew a beard last year for hunting season and it stayed until late March. I started it back again sometime in June because the wife and daughter like it. I still see lots of men with a goatee but not as many as it used to be because they did like me and converted it to a beard like I did.

I don't think I will shave it all off to conform to twig tiptoers standards of what facial hair is currently in fashion, because everybody knows he is in touch with, and cares about, current grooming trends.
