How many dogs is too many? I have a lil over an acre fenced in. A 45 pound lab/Shepard mix female and two male mutts around 60 pounds. Also a 3/4 pit 1/4 sharpei male pup that's about 15 pounds. What kind and how many dogs do you have and how much land? Mine are outside dogs for the most part but depending on heat or cold they may come on and stay confined to a certain area.

We also have an acre and have 3 dogs. A Brittany, an Aussie, and a blue healer/catahoula mix. They seem to do fine. My brittany could stay out there all the time. He loves running laps laps and chasing ANYTHING that flies, runs, or hops....bugs, birds, toads etc, etc. -
I've got a lab, lab/mastiff mix, and some type of mutt we picked up down the road from us. Our yard is fenced, which is about 3 acres, but have more property for them to roam when we're outside the yard.Comment

Same as cats. Even one is too many. Was trying to back my motorcycle and it wouldn't roll. Ended up being a deuce my Lab had dropped that had petrified and chocked the wheel.Last edited by muzzlebrake; 08-22-2015, 04:50 PM.Comment

More than one is too many for me (on 4 acres). I like having one but not a pack. I guess you could run 20 on an acre if you wanted.Comment
